Roots & Branches

Roots & Branches: A Practitioners' Exchange Retreat

A Co-Created Experience for Therapists, Facilitators, and Space-Holders.

Vision

Just as trees find their stability and nourishment through their deep and inter-connected root systems to reach skyward with their branches, we as practitioners need nourishment at our foundations for our growth.

Roots & Branches creates a space for where those who hold space for others can themselves feel connected, nourished, and inspired. A community in which we can restore, explore, share, learn, and expand.

By sharing our diverse approaches and creating connections, we return to our work with renewed purpose, uplifted confidence, expanded perspectives, and ongoing connection to supportive community that understands the unique journey of facilitating transformation.

The Experience

Imagine a week in a beautiful sun-drenched villa, or a weekend in a UK farmhouse, where each of us offers our unique skills and practices to the group while also receiving that which others have to share.
Each day includes:
Morning Practices

Start the day with shared movement, meditation, or contemplative practices (yoga, dance, singing etc.).

Exchange Sessions

Experience and learn from the diverse modalities of fellow practitioners, and have a chance to practice new or developing designs of your own if you wish.

Integration Time

Space for reflection, connection, and absorption of experiences.

Evening Unwinding

Close the day with a shared meal, meaningful conversation, relaxation, and community.

Additional Elements:
Opening Ceremony

Beginning our retreat with intention and connection.

Shared Meals

Enjoying fresh, vibrant plant-based meals together, with preparation duties shared.

Free Time

For rest, exploration, spontaneous connections or solitude.

Closing Ceremony

Acknowledging our shared journey and integration.

Whatever your approach, if you work with presence and care to facilitate growth or healing for others, you’re invited to be part of this exchange. And this is an environment of learning and collaboration: the invitation is open to use this opportunity to develop your designs and offerings, rather than necessarily to offer something perfectly polished.

Expectations:

Each participant will offer 1-2 sessions to the group during our time together. These can be experiential workshops, skill-shares, or other forms of exchange that represent your work.

What Makes This Different

This is not a traditional retreat where you simply receive. Nor is it a formal training or networking event.

Instead, it’s a genuine exchange among peers – a rare opportunity to experience the modalities of fellow practitioners while sharing your own in a supportive, non-commercial environment.

We create this together. The accommodation, meals, and general structure provide our framework, but the content and experience emerge from what each of us brings.

Cost

This is a collaborative initiative rather than a commercial venture. The main financial costs will be villa rental and food, divided equally. No profit will be taken. All participants will share equally in both the giving/receiving of sessions and the practical aspects of creating our retreat experience together.
