This offering is for a men’s circle that meets once monthly in the centre of Petersfield, on a Tuesday evening at 7pm.

What is a Men’s Circle About?

A Men’s Circle is an intentional space for men to come together to share, witness, and find mutual support.

This is the opportunity to join a community of like-minded men who are interested in self improvement: learning from one-another; building self-awareness and emotional intelligence; connecting with a deeper sense of purpose and meaning; and enjoying a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space to work through challenges and aspirations.

What Takes Place in a Men’s Circle?

A circle is formed and opened, and time is given for each man to have a turn to speak. He might share about something taking place in his life, some challenges, or some aspirations or plans – it is up to him. Then, if it is invited, other men can offer feedback. It is a process of practising self-reflection, receiving feedback, and taking active responsibility.

How Will This Support Me?

Peer support groups help people grow faster and experience greater wellbeing.

People feel better when they have the opportunity to talk through things. Talking is an indispensible part of the thinking process: it helps us refine and organise our thoughts and feelings.

Talking in a safe space can help us process and regulate our emotions so that we are better able to handle our day-to-day experiences.

Circles give us the opportunity to draw on the collective wisdom of a community. This can help get us to where we want to be faster and more effectively.

Engaging in authentic, heart-felt communication – both speaking and listening – helps us learn about our emotions and how to better work with and express them.
